Kimi Antonelli made clear what he expected from the talks with Toto Wolff following the Canadian GP Sprint.
Kimi Antonelli sought “clarity” from Mercedes boss Toto Wolff regarding the team’s engagement rules after his Sprint clash with team-mate George Russell. During the Sprint, Antonelli attempted to overtake Russell but was forced across the grass, later losing a place to Lando Norris’s McLaren. Wolff instructed Antonelli to focus on driving rather than complaining over the radio. Antonelli emphasized the importance of avoiding contact with his teammate and clarified the situation in a discussion with Wolff. Following the talks, Antonelli confirmed that the issue had been resolved, stating, “We’ve reviewed, had a chat with Toto, and it’s all good now.”
